Presentation Day – Sunday 28th March

Sunday, March 21st, 2010

Hi Fellow Ducks,

This is a reminder about our presentation day on Sunday 28th March,  this year it is at The Entrance Baths starting at 12:30pm.

Remember that this is club presentation, Seniors and Juniors. Our wonderful U/12 and U/14 Teams will hopefully be providing the snacks before a Hot Dog lunch. Bring the family and pray to the weather gods for a good day. There is fun to be had so please pass on this information to ducks who have been with us this season.

Hope to see you there.

Ruth

Seniors suffered a clean sweep of defeats against Gosford last night.

Good luck to the Duck representatives heading off to Albury this coming weekend for the Country Districts tournament.

M3 & M2 have great wins over Wombats.

Following are the results of last nights games against Woy Woy at PLC.

Great wins for M3 and M2 over the usually strong Wombats teams.

Both Ladies teams had tough games, with Ruth having a solid game in centre forward for L1.

M1 stuck with Woy Woy until the third quarter (probably their closest game with Woy Woy this season) with Joel having a good game in goals and a great buzzer beater by Will at the end of the game.

L2 – Woy Woy 11 def The Entrance 2

The Ducks were unfortunately whitewashed last night by the stronger Wombats. Mal even had to get his kit back on to assist M1 and a couple of the up and coming L2 girls made the step up to assist the L1’s.

Highlights:

1. Whilst not condoned Pinky had a nice little blow up in M2 after being man handled in centre back (starting to be a common theme for him of late).

2. Will pulling out the rule book on the 2m rule in M1.

3. Reidy’s ever present lob that he attempted, with success, in M1.

4. Chevy realising why he plays in goals (looks like he will be back in M2 with Joely the Goalie making the step up).
